Race 1: Class 6 (1000M) Allowance / KRW 24 Million

Maiden fillies to kick things off. Plenty come in with encouraging recent form and (9) TNUNDER VEGAS is the slight pick having beaten a few of these on her way to 5th and 4th place finishes in her latest two outings. Expect her to be close to the early pace here and she can go closer once more. (4) MAGIC STEALTH and (8) CHODONG JINJU both come in having recorded 3rd places in their respective latest outings and can match or better that today while (10) HUIMANG SOYEO showed significant improvement when registering a 3rd of her own two weeks ago and can build on that performance here. There are two first-time starters and (6) TOP QUEEN looks a prospect. She went through a trial in May and then again earlier this month, both times looking sharp and can go well first-up.

Selections (9) Thunder Vegas (6) Top Queen (4) Magic Stealth (8) Chodong Jinju

Race 2: Class 6 (1300M) Allowance / KRW 60 Million

Small field of nine but a big prize for these juveniles. It’s hard to look past (1) FANTASTIC WINNER. Having won a trial in September, he was just beaten a head on debut over 1000M on October 18th with a couple off his rivals here well back down the track behind him. The additional trip shouldn’t be an issue and he should win. (4) TOP BEST and (2) BURNING STAR ran 3rd and 6th in that race and both can build on those reasonably promising debuts today although the main danger is set to be (5) YEONGSEONG VICTORY. He also ran 2nd on his debut a month ago and looks to have plenty of ability. (8) FUTURE KING best of the rest.

Selections (1) Fantastic Winner (5) Yeongseong Victory (4) Top Best (8) Future King

Race 3: Class 6 (1300M) Allowance / KRW 60 Million

More juvenile maidens here with three of the ten racing for the first time. One of those first-timers is the pick. (2) GABO DAY is from the track’s top stable and looked competent trialling up with plenty to spare last month. This looks a sensible distance to debut at and he can win. (3) MASTER KING steps up in trip following a solid 4th place on debut five weeks ago and should be one of the main dangers. (5) MARK STAR finished last on his first try at the beginning of last month and was accordingly sent back to trial. He looked a different animal, romping home in his heat by eight lengths and should be much better today. (6) DONGNIP YEOLGANG and (7) CHEONNYEONUI GIL are others in the frame.

Selections (2) Gabo Day (3) Master King (5) Mark Star (7) Cheonnyeonui Gil

Race 4: Class 6 (1300M) Allowance / KRWS 24 Million

After a tilt at a mile last time, (2) CHEONNYEONUIHEUIMA drops back to the 1300M over which she ran 2nd, beaten a head, back in August. She’ll come from just off the pace and today could well be her day. (7) YEONGWON DYNAMO stepped up to this trip last start and finished a useful 3rd, which she can build on today, while (12) QUEEN UP was an much improved 2nd in a similar race to this four weeks ago, coming from well off the pace with a strong late run. (1) TOP SKY ran 5th on debut and is bound to get backing given the jockey/trainer combination. (11) WONDERFU EI is another who can go close.

Selections (2) Cheonnyeonuiheuima (7) Yeongwon Dynamo (12) Queen Up (1) Top Sky

Race 5: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

It took her fourteen attempts but the manner in which (5) ECHO NILE registered her maiden win three weeks ago, was certainly eye-catching, making all to win by two-lengths over 1300M. She carries an additional 4kg today, but a repeat looks very much on the cards. (12) SPEED FURY returned from eight months off at the end of October to take his record to three wins from four starts. He carries even more weight than Echo Nile but looks a talent and must be considered a danger. (2) BLACK EAGLE WING has been 4th in both starts so far and can improve today while (3) YEONGGWANGUI SAVE and (7) AMAZING TAPIT are others who can at least place.

Selections (5) Echo Nile (12) Speed Fury (2) Black Eagle Wing (7) Amazing Tapit
Next Best 3, 8
Fast Start 5, 6, 7

Race 6: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(4) CURLIN TIME was a promising looking juvenile this time last year but having finished as an also ran in the Gyeongnam DoMin Ilbo Cup, suffered a number of setbacks that kept him off the track until October this year. He didn’t do anything spectacular on his return, but he ran solidly enough and there could well be significant improvement today. (7) WINNING POST beat Curlin Time last month and while that form will probably be overturned, he can tun well again. (6) AMAZON YEOGEOL ran well for 5th in a stronger race than this two weeks ago and can get closer today. (2) MABEOP CHEOREOM and first-time starter (3) TRAFFIC MARINE are others in the hunt.

Selections (4) Curlin Time (6) Amazon Yeogeol (3) Traffic Marine (2) Mabeop Cheoreom
Next Best 7, 9
Fast Start 2, 5, 11

Race 7: Class 5 (1000M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

(2) HANBIT TAEYANG is the one to beat here. A maiden winner at this distance in October, he ran 3rd on his first try at this level three weeks ago having led until the closing stages. This time he might not be caught this time. (12) DANCING BLAZE was 4th in that race and while the forty-one-race maiden isn’t likely to be winning here, she’s more than capable of finding the money again.  The main danger is (5) BANJIUI JEONSEOL. He’s up in class having finished 2nd in both starts so far, both at this distance and both in fast times. If he can get to the front, he can win. (1) NANSAN YEOJE and (9) BEYOND, the latter up in class after a good win last start, are others with at least placing claims.

Selections (2) Hanbit Taeyang (5) Banjiui Jeonseol (9) Beyond (12) Dancing Blaze

Fast Start 1, 2, 3, 5

Race 8: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 40 Million

(3) TWO TWO FAIRY remains a maiden following six attempts but has been knocking on the door with a 2nd and two 3rd place finishes from her latest three. The most recent of those was at class and distance and she could well get it right this time. (1) NAEGA SAEGANGJA too has been coming close in recent starts and Seo Seung-un’s presence aboard suggests that today he has a real chance too while (4) SHINING EYE steps up in class following a three-length win over this distance in a good time a month ago and should be more than competitive at this level. (6) BIG PICTURE comes up in class and distance after a solid win over 1000M three weeks ago while (8) ULSAN JANGGUN can also play a role in the finish.

Selections (3) Two Two Fairy (4) Shining Eye (1) Naega Saegangja (6) Big Picture
Next Best 8, 7
Fast Start 1, 2, 6, 8

Race 9: Class 4 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

Competitive race. (6) DAEHO JILJU is a winner at this class over 1200M and also has a 2nd place finish to his name at this distance. He’s top-rated here for a reason and has strong claims. (1) MAGIC FLYING has a 3rd and a 2nd from his latest two and looks nicely in here to go close from the inside gate while (3) ROYAL TICKET was 4th in what was a very tight finish at class and distance on November 3rd. He’s a proven winner at a mile and will be on pace from the start. (7) ONE CHANCE also comes in with recent from reading very well while (9) THE FACT completes the line-up of main contenders and will carry a very light weight.

Selections (3) Royal Ticket (6) Daeho Jilju (1) Magic Flying (7) One Chance
Next Best 9, 5
Fast Start 1, 3, 4, 10

Race 10: Class 3 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

A winner of three from five (8) BANJIUI YOJEONG is up in class after a nine-length score over 1000M two weeks ago. All her wins so far have come at the minimum distance, but she looks ready to make the step up in trip here and is very much the one to beat. (5) THUNDER RAIN had a poor day at the office over 1400M last start but should be better dropped back to 1200M. (10) YEONGCHEON HERO and (12) YEONGGWANGUI SIDAE came home 4th and 5th respectively when they raced each other at 1400M on October 27th and both can aim to match or better that today. (4) JAEDOYAKUI BANSEOK is another in at least the placing frame.

Selections (8) Banjiui Yojeong (5) Thunder Rain (10) Yeongcheon Hero (12) Yeonggwangui Sidae
Next Best 4, 1
Fast Start 7, 8, 9

Race 11: Class 2 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

(9) GLITTER seems to finally be living up to his early promise having won both his latest two, including his first attempt at this class on October 20th. That was at this distance and while he’s up in the weighs by 3lg today, he is favoured to win again. (8) AWESOME KING IJI was less than a length back in 2nd that day and he’ll be a danger today while (3) CUBAUI YEOLJEONG enters off a very close 4th place finish at class and distance last month and should be on the early pace here. It took (4) JJUUK eleven attempts to get his maiden win but he evidently enjoyed it as he has now won three of his latest four. He’s up in class here but is accordingly very nicely weighted and can maintain his run of good form. (2) TONGIL HANGUK was never a factor on his latest outing last month but is better than that and can be given another chance today.

Selections (9) Glitter (8) Awesome King Iji (4) Jjuuk (3) Cubaui Yeoljeong
