Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

Competitive maiden to begin. (7) BONBON TIARA has two 4th places and a 5th from three starts so far, most recently stepping up to this trip for the first time on September 20th. She’ll race handy, the in-form Asano stays on, and she can win. (3) SEOBU KING was an improved 2nd over 1300M at start five on September 19th. He was beaten seven-lengths by a good winner but doesn’t face anything like that here and won’t have to improve much to go very close. (11) LOVING PURPLE led for much of is latest on October 10th over this distance, ultimately only going down by a length and a quarter. She has the challenge of the widest gate here but can be in the mix again. (5) LEGEND MONSTER and (3) WALLSTREET other minor money chances.

Seoul Race 2: Class 4 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 75 Million

Imported maidens for northern hemisphere two-year-olds and southern hemisphere three-year-olds with five of the eight racing for the first time. (4) CLUTCH CHAMP went through two trials, improving significantly in the second of them (2nd from gate twelve in 62.7 seconds on September 17th). He draws well here and if he brings that form to the races, he can win. (2) CASTELLA debuted in July with a solid 4th place over 1000M. He had a setback afterwards but has been back in full work since the start of this month and he is the main danger. (8) HERO MITOLE was a close 2nd in his trial just last week when leading close to home. So long as he didn’t leave his race there, he can be competitive first up. Another first timer (1) NAREUSYA GLORY, along with (5) EAST WINNER, who has raced twice for a 3rd and an 8th, are the others to consider.

Seoul Race 3: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million

Juvenile maidens with four of the eleven racing for the first time. After a couple of good trials, (9) LUMINOUS finished in 3rd place on debut over 1000M on October 3rd, coming from off the pace and only beaten just over a length. He should have come on for that run, the step up in trip can suit, and he is the one to beat. (8) GHOST THUNDER ran 6th on debut before improving to 4th at start two over this distance on October 5th. Both times he has come from well off the pace and as the only one in the race with two outings behind him, e may have a fitness edge here. (6) WONPYEONG CAT came from a long way back to run 6th of eleven behind Luminous on October 3rd and is another wo should benefit from a bit further. Of the first-time starters, (5) PLOTTER and (7) MANY BLITZ were the best in trials, the former having won his. One thing to be aware of is that there is no obvious early speed in the field.

Selections(9) Luminous (8) Ghost Thunder (6) Wonpyeong Cat (5) Plotter

Seoul Race 4: Class 6 (1000M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million

Juvenile maidens with five of the nine racing for the first time. (5) DAON HUNTER showed on pace over this distance on debut on September 6th, ultimately coming home in 2nd place, beaten four-lengths. He should have come on for that run, he can lead again here, and he can go one better. (7) CRAZY BLUE was similarly only about four-lengths behind the winner, albeit back in 4th place, on his debut on September 13th over 1000M. he too can be on pace again and in this a long way. (4) YEONGWONHAN BOSS won his trial from the front and from a central draw, can put in a bold effort first up. (3) MR. BULLS and (9) POINT WIND also hinted at ability in their respective heats.

Seoul Race 5: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

Quite a weak maiden but that makes it a tricky puzzle to solve. (3) AMOS JEONSA didn’t do much on debut in July but was an improved 4th over 1200M at start two on August 29th. He comes in fresh after nine weeks out and he has every chance here. (5) MANGEUM SPEED as made progress across three starts so far, with a 5th over 1200M on October 4th. Each time he has got a long way back but has finished off well and he may appreciate the jump up in trip. (8) SEVEN FORCE has a 5th and two 6th place finishes from three starts so far. They have been in tougher maidens than this and he should be getting much closer today. (10) CHRYSOL POSH and (1) MYSTIC GLOW are perhaps the best of a limited looking rest.

Seoul Race 6: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Fillies and mares only here. (8) NAOL AURORA got her maiden win back at start number three and has proven competitive at this level with a 3rd and a 4th from her latest two, both over this distance. She returns to the trip over which she won and with Seo Seung-un staying on, she will be the favourite. (6) WONDER GRACE was 2nd at start two in July before getting her maiden win over 1200M on August 16th. She hasn’t raced since and she us u pin class here, as well as coming up in weight, but she looks to have potential and she can measure up. (5) DELTA DAECHEON comes back into the gate from which she won tree starts back. She should be on the speed and in this a long way. (10) BIBA CHARM and (2) JEJU PRINCESS others to look out for.

Seoul Race 7: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(3) GEUMBIT YEONGUNG has raced five times, finishing inside of the top four every time and in 2nd place in each of his latest three, most recently on his first try at this class on September 20th. He draws well to sit behind the speed and run on and can make his breakthrough here. If he once again finds one too quick, it might be (9) SILK SPECTER. It’s been a long time since she got her maiden win, but her recent form reads very well with a 2nd and two 3rd places from her latest three. She is under a very light weight again and wile she draws a touch wider than ideal she can be on pace and is a chance. (5) JOY CHEONHA and (8) SEVEN KAISER should be capable of at least challenging for places in this company while (4) NAMCHON TOWN, returning to action for the first time since August of 2025, is the wildcard.

Selections(3) Geumbit Yeongung (9) Silk Specter (5) Joy Cheonha (8) Seven Kaiser

Seoul Race 8: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(3) FLUTTER has flattered to deceive but comes back in trip today. He won his first go around this distance as a juvenile and after taking a swing at the first leg of the Triple Crown, eventually came back to 1200M to run 4th in a tough Trophy race on international weekend. The draw is good for him to lead and to win. (8) PURPLE KOREA won back-to-back races in July and August, the latter at tis class, leading all the way on August 29th. He weakened having led from gate eleven last time out and is worth another chance today. (9) URUS SABBIA is two for two having won in March and April at 1300M and 1400M to get rapidly promoted to this level before going lame. He looked well in a trial two weeks ago and a bold showing on return is possible. (2) BLUE RAIN and (10) NAOL DAEWANG are among plenty of other chances in a competitive race.

Seoul Race 9: Class 4 (1700M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(3) BREEDO CHAMPION is yet to win in seven attempts but is getting ever closer and comes in having run 2nd to Beongae Lewis over a mile on his latest start on September 12th when ridden further forward earlier than usual. He is up to the 1700M for the first time, and it can suit. (8) PASA SPARK was a winner at this class and distance back in June when coming from well off the pace. She enters off a 3rd place on October 5th, and she can be expected to be running on strong late in the race again. It’s been a long time since the latest of (2) CHEONGSAN JILJU’s three wins but he has been working back into form with a 2nd place last time out at this class over a mile, beaten less than a length. He is tactically versatile and should be in the mix again. The returning (9) DANAEUN STAR along with (7) GHOST CHRYSOL are others who could have a say in the finish.

Seoul Race 10: Class 3 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(9) KING MASTER ran 4th in the Korean Derby in May before finishing back in midfield in the Minister’s Cup, the final leg of the Triple Crown a month later. After a couple of months off, he finished 4th behind Concord Codie at the start of September before returning to winning ways on October 3rd at this class and distance when handy throughout from a wide draw. He is up 2kg in weight but should be nice and fit and ready to win again. (3) VICTORY SOCKS will be second-favourite. He came from off the pace to run 2nd at this class over a mile on September 19th and while he is up to two turns for the first time, his racing style suggests that it can suit. (2) K POWERFUL was a touch disappointing last time out when weakening but is a five-time placer over this trip and can be given another chance on an each-way line. (6) WORLD BLAME and (7) HERE I AM, the latter up in class following an all the way score over 1700M, are others to consider.

Seoul Race 11: Class 2 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million

We’ll take a chance on (9) MASTER KWAIGON to return to form. He won tree consecutive races up to the end of May before running 3rd to General Wind and then 5th behind Gamsaui Him. Instead of lugging around top weight, he takes a shy at the class 2 stumps here, e comes in fresh, and he should be available at an each-way price. (8) MIGHTY JOY was a winner at this class over 1400M two starts back. He should be on pace here and can be in the finish. (4) DRONE KILLER was 4th behind Mighty Joy in that race, which was on September 12th. That continued a consistent run of form, and he should be around the placings again. (6) USEUNG CONCORD and (10) BLUE NELLO are others who be in the placing frame.
