Sunday’s racing is at Seoul (11-races from 10:35 to 17:55) and at Yeongcheon (6-races from 12:45 to 16:30). The feature is at Seoul where the capital runs its second leg of the Juvenile Series, the NACF Chairman’s Trophy (1200M KOR-Listed), which is race 8 on the program:

Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1000M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million
Juvenile maiden fillies with seven of the eleven racing for the first time. (10) SAVE QUEEN trialed up well before debuting on September 6th over 1200M and settling midfield before running on to finish 4th of eleven. She should have come on for that run and won’t need to improve much to beat this modest looking set of rivals. (5) HAKSAN SMARTY put in a fair effort on her debut on September 19th, starting slowly but quickening for 5th. She too should have derived benefit from that and can get closer. Turning to the debut-makers, (7) TIGER CHAMP was the best in trials, finishing a close 2nd in a decent time and if she brings that form to the races, she won’t be far away. (11) FLYING PARTY and (3) WONDER FLEX others who could make an impact.
| Selections | (10) Save Queen (5) Haksan Smarty (7) Tiger Champ (11) Flying Party |
| Next Best | 3, 8 |
| Fast Start | 2, 3, 7, 8 |
Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million
Juvenile maidens with three of the eleven racing for the first time. (4) LUNA SOCKS has been a beaten favourite in both her starts to date, finishing 3rd on debut over 1000M in August and then 5th over this distance on October 5th when she used up a lot of energy to lead from a wide draw. She draws much better today, and she is well worth another chance. (7) BEST FRIEND only just scraped through a qualification trial but ran solidly on debut on August 29th for 3rd place over 1200M showing handy throughout. He should have come on for the run and can be in this. (5) PUREUNDOLPUNG was an improved 4th at start number two in an all-filly maiden over 1200M on September 12th. Like Luna Socks, third-up she can be peaking and should be a threat. (11) GEOSEN GIPPEUM and (10) SISLI could also improve from their respective debuts.
| Selections | (4) Luna Socks (7) Best Friend (5) Pureundolpung (11) Geosen Gippeum |
| Next Best | 10, 1 |
| Fast Start | 2, 4, 5, 7 |
Seoul Race 3: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million
(3) DAREURI YEOWANG enters off a best to date 2nd place over 1300M when coming from the widest gate and running on. She comes into a much better gate this time around and she is faovured to go one better. (11) MIGHTY POINT debuted back in March and ran a fair 5th of eleven. He hasn’t raced since but looked well enough when not asked for much in a September trial and Franco’s booking suggests he may be worth an each-way chance in a race that the favourite aside, isn’t very deep. (2) COMPASS FORCE was a fair 3rd last time out in a slowly run race over 1300M. Her one previous try at this trip was her worst so far but in this company she can be close. (5) GOSANBONG and (4) CHEONDUNGUIBULKKOT look to be the other chances.
| Selections | (3) Dareuri Yeowang (11) Mighty Point (2) Compass Force (5) Gosanbong |
| Next Best | 4, 10 |
| Fast Start | 3, 5, 8, 9 |
Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
(9) ANYANG LASER enters off back-to-back runner-up finishes at this class both over 1800M and both times having led for much of the way. He cuts back in trip, an apprentice takes his weight down, and he could well win this. (10) ROYAL HOPE K was a winner on debut over 1000M in June and then followed up with a narrow score at this class and distance on August 9th. He was well back in the Listed Gwacheon Mayor’s Cup on September 13th, but he returns to shallower waters today and will start as favourite. (3) WINNER NAMCHON is yet to win but is up in class following two consecutive 2nd place finishes, most recently over this distance on September 13th and under a very light weight, she can measure up. (4) NASCA BULCHUNGGAEK and (5) BEST A ONE others to consider.
| Selections | (9) Anyang Laser (10) Royal Hope K (3) Winner Namchon (4) Nasca Bulchunggaek |
| Next Best | 5, 2 |
| Fast Start | 2, 4, 5, 10 |
Yeongcheon Race 1: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
After an emphatic win on debut over 1000M, (7) SERAPH was sent off as favourite for the Rookie Stakes in August when, in bad weather, she led but got caught late, and then again in the Listed Gangseo-gu Mayor’s Trophy on September 11th when she did exacrly the same thing. She comes into much shallower waters here, the short home straight at Yeongcheon may suit, and she really should stay the 1200M this time. (9) ROAD TO NUMBER ONE enters off a class and distance 2nd at Busan on September 6th. She has been very consistent across seven starts to date, and she should be in the mix again. Veteran (11) GOLDEN POINT showed a liking for Yeongcheon when running 2nd at this class and distance on October 4th and while up 2kg in weight, he can be close again. (8) OASIS HEUIMANG and (5) GREAT STAR other place chances.
| Selections | (7) Seraph (9) Road To Number One (11) Golden Point (8) Oasis Heuimang |
| Next Best | 5, 6 |
| Fast Start | 7, 8, 9, 10 |
Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
Good race for the level. (2) GEUMA ON POINT made his breakthrough at this class and distance on August 29th when leading from gate-to-wire. He comes up a full 4.5kg in weight but draws the same good gate and he could repeat. (6) RAON CHARIS GIRL was a close 2nd on debut over 1000M before winning at start two over 1200M on September 19th. She is up in class today and while she can’t get a weight drop, she has every chance of measuring up. (11) POINT I was a class and distance winner two outings back before running 4th over 1400M on September 19th and while she has her fair share of weight again, she shouldn’t be far away. (10) SEMYEONG PEAK and the up in class (7) UNICORN ACE are others in the hunt.
| Selections | (2) Geuma On Point (6) Raon Charis Girl (11) Point I (10) Semyeong Peak |
| Next Best | 7, 1 |
| Fast Start | 1, 2, 8, 11 |
Yeongcheon Race 2: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
(9) TIPPING POINT registered a win and two runner-up finishes from his first three outings which gave him a spin around in the Listed Gangseo-gu Mayor’s in which she finished last of nine but with the margins not huge. Back in softer company and under a light weight, she can be the one to beat on her first visit to Yeongcheon. (10) PILSEUNG WINNER took nine goes to get his maiden win, but he evidently enjoyed it as he promptly followed up with another on September 18th when he led from gate to wire over this distance. He only comes up 2kg in weight and a hat-trick isn’t impossible. Those two will fill out most quinella tickets with (1) SEONGSIL WORLD the clear third favourite. She enters having beaten two of today’s rivals on her way to 3rd place at this class and distance at Busan on September 4th and can be there or thereabouts again. (11) TAEYANGUIYEOLJEONG and (6) PRIME ROCK could provide the big-price place interest.
| Selections | (9) Tipping Point (10) Pilseung Winner (1) Seongsil World (11) Taeyanguiyeoljeong |
| Next Best | 6, 5 |
| Fast Start | 1, 6, 7, 9 |
Seoul Race 6: Class 5 (1700M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
(2) CLUTCH WORLD was 3rd on debut over 1400M before winning over the same trip at start number two on September 19th when prominent throughout. He is up in class and in trip but is down slightly in weight, he draws well to be on pace, and there could be plenty more to come. (8) WITH DIS KURO returns to action for the first time since finished 2nd at this class over 1800M back in January. He looked very well when winning a September trial though and while he carries his fair share of weight, he can go well first-up. (9) BLACK RUSSIAN enters off a 3rd place at class and distance on October 5th and under pretty much the same weight, he can be close here. (3) TOUR KING mixes his form but Maia on is a plus. (7) NAEGILUI YEOJEONG another place chance.
| Selections | (2) Clutch World (8) With Dis Kuro (9) Black Russian (3) Tour King |
| Next Best | 7, 4 |
| Fast Start | 1, 2, 5, 7 |
Yeongcheon Race 3: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
(6) BAMTORI BAMBAM is yet to win in seven attempts but having returned from five months out in August, he has finished 2nd twice at this class over 1300 and 1400M. Third-up he can peak fitness-wise and Yeongcheon can be wat he needs to make his breakthrough. (8) IT’S LIT is also a maiden, in his case after four attempts. He was a solid 3rd on his first try at this class over 1300M on September 6th, and that’s enough to make him the main danger here. (7) FANTASTIC SANTA returns after five months out and having looked well enough in a trial at the start of this month, can be a danger in this company. (11) DOCTOR CHAMP and (5) BURUI SINJEON are the other main chances.
| Selections | (6) Bamtori Bambam (8) It’s Lit (7) Fantastic Santa (11) Doctor Champ |
| Next Best | 5, 10 |
| Fast Start | 2, 4, 7, 11 |
Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
(4) BREEDO AQUA has won three from five and has never been outside of the top three. She comes in having won the SPP Trophy on international weekend over this distance in a very quick time and while she is up a full 6kg on that, in this company, she really should be winning again. (1) LAST K is rapidly up in class having won two of his latest three, both at this distance. In contrast to the favourite, he gets a weight drop, and that can enable him to be competitive. (10) PANGPANG DAERO was a winner at this class and distance in August and while he was a beaten favourite last time out on September 19th having led and ultimately running a close 3rd. He can be in the mix again. (5) MIGHTY SAVER and (6) RAON THE KEISHA others in the frame.
| Selections | (4) Breedo Aqua (1) Last K (10) Pangpang Daero (5) Mighty Saver |
| Next Best | 6, 3 |
| Fast Start | 4, 6, 8, 10 |
Yeongcheon Race 4: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
Competitive race. (3) OASIS YOUNG was a winner at this class over 1200M on opening day at this track on September 13th, racing handy throughout. An apprentice jockey keeps his weight low, and from a good gate, he can win again. (2) FLYING RACE has won his latest two, most recently at this class and distance at Yeongcheon on September 13th. Those two wins have come in his first two starts back following a five-month layoff and while he is up 3.5kg in weight, a hat-trick isn’t out of the question. (5) CHATS KHAN is also two starts into a comeback following an even lengthier layoff. He has finished 2nd in both outings and just like Flying Race, third-up he has the potential to strip even fitter. (7) MORNING DEW was a big price class and distance winner last time out and while not favourite here, warrants more respect. (11) KEUTPAN YEOGEOL the best of the rest.
| Selections | (3) Oasis Young (2) Flying Race (5) Chats Khan (7) Morning Dew |
| Next Best | 11, 10 |
| Fast Start | 4, 5, 10, 11 |
Seoul Race 8: Class Open (1200M) Special Weight A / NACF Chairman’s Trophy (KOR-Listed) / KRW 200 Million
Seoul’s Juvenile series second leg. After running 2nd in the Rookie Stakes, (5) MAJOR FURY won the Listed Gwacheon Mayor’s Trophy over this distance on September 13th, racing handy and scoring narrowly. He can win again here. (1) SAMJEONG CHEF was sent off as favourite for the Gwacheon Mayor’s following an emphatic debut win. He was slow away though and never involved, ultimately finishing 6th. Interestingly, Seo Seung-un, who ride Major Fury in the Gwacheon Mayor’s, gets on Samjeong Chef here while Jang Chu-youl goes in the opposite direction. Make of that what you will, and it is too early to write off Samjeong Chef. (4) CLUTCH DERBY won his first two races before running a very close 3rd in the Gwacheon Mayor’s having led for almost the entire way. He will surely be on pace again and it would be no surprise if he went all the way. (2) GOLDEN VENTUS looks next best with the wildcard being (10) YEONGUNG BAROWS but these juveniles can change very quickly.
| Selections | (5) Major Fury (1) Samjeong Chef (4) Clutch Derby (2) Golden Ventus |
| Next Best | 10, 7 |
| Fast Start | 4, 7, 8, 10 |
Yeongcheon Race 5: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
(3) STEALTH KINGMAN has two wins and three 2nd place finishes from five starts so far with his latest outing being a close runner-up behind Oasis Young at this track and over this distance on his first try at this class on September 13th. He likes to race on pace, so he is very nicely drawn, and he can return to winning ways today. (11) TAMNA FIRST was a winner at this class and distance two starts back before running 2nd in a very quick race on October 4th on his first try at Yeongcheon. He has the steadier of 56.5kg on his back, as well as the widest gate, but he can be close. (8) ROAD TO CLEO is a form mixer but going on her 2nd place at class and distance last time out, she is not to be dismissed. (9) GWANGSOKMA and (6) DEMETER others in the placing frame.
| Selections | (3) Stealth Kingman (11) Tamna First (8) Road To Cleo (9) Gwangsokma |
| Next Best | 6, 5 |
| Fast Start | 1, 5, 6, 11 |
Yeongcheon Race 6: Class 3 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million
Very competitive finale. (11) DRAGON REVENGER returned from over four months out to run 2nd at his class and distance on September 20th, showing on pace throughout. He comes up 2kg in weight today and has the challenge of the widest gate, but he should strip fitter for that run, and he can win. (6) NAKDONG MYEONGJAK has two 3rd places and a 5th from three starts at this level since winning in June. He has from to overturn on a couple here but has a light weight and every chance. (3) YULIM SESANG was a fair 5th on his first visit to Yeongcheon two weeks ago and can go closer today. (7) MR. PRIME and (8) GEUMA EMINENT among plenty of others with chances.
| Selections | (11) Dragon Revenger (6) Nakdong Myeongjak (3) Yulim Sesang (7) Mr. Prime |
| Next Best | 8, 9 |
| Fast Start | 3, 6, 9, 10 |
Seoul Race 9: Class 4 (1700M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
Two up and comers clash here and it’s hard to split them. (10) BEONGAE LEWIS is a perfect three for three so far, landing comfortable wins up to this class and to a mile. He comes up 4kg in weight today (though he won under more on debut) and up to two turns for the first time, but he can maintain his 100% record. (2) THE SUN STORY is a big danger. She didn’t do much in her first two but has since won four in a row, most recently at this class over 1800M on September 12th when leading from gate to wire. She is up 2.5kg in weight but draws well to lead again and can prove difficult to pass. (5) MYUNGJINBULLPAI is perhaps the most likely for the remaining place, although (11) GOOD MORNING COME and (4) VINCERO CUE may also have a say.
| Selections | (10) Beongae Lewis (2) The Sun Story (5) Myungjinbullpai (11) Good Morning Come |
| Next Best | 4, 7 |
| Fast Start | 1, 2, 4 ,10 |
Seoul Race 10: Class 3 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million
Very competitive. It’s been a long time since (11) SUPER BLUEMOON last won, but his recent form reads very well with a 2nd at this class and distance two starts back followed by a shy at the class 2 stumps on September 20th which yielded a 3rd place over 2000M. The payoff for dropping back in class is a 4kg rise in weight, but he could return to winning ways here. (10) JEONGSANG HERO was a winner was a class 4 winner two starts back over 1700M and while he was a beaten favourite over a mile on his first try at this class on September 19th, Andre stays on and he is worth another chance. (2) NICE WINNER has won two of his last three to come rapidly up in class. He is down 4kg in weight and that should be enough to make him very competitive. (6) GWANAKSAN LEO and (1) SHINING ROAD among plenty of others in the mix.
| Selections | (11) Super Bluemoon (10) Jeongsang Hero (2) Nice Winner (6) Gwanaksan Leo |
| Next Best | 1, 9 |
| Fast Start | 2, 3, 8, 10 |
Seoul Race 11: Class 1 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 110 Million
(6) SUPER FINISH, 3rd in the 2025 Korea Sprint, returned from five months out to win at this class and distance on August 30th. An apprentice jockey booking means he comes down 3kg in weight and he can win again. (5) ZIGGURAT should have a far better win record than he does. It’s been a long time since he finished any worse than 3rd and 1400M is his best distance. Under a fair weight, he can overturn the form from that August 30th race when he was, of course, 3rd. (10) CIRCLE A enters having run 2nd to Daeseong Star in the JRA Trophy over 1800M on international weekend. He is a winner of five from eleven and is under a light weight for his first regular class 1 test and is not to be dismissed. (11) KING HONOR won at this class over 1200M on August 9th. E hasn’t run since but looked well in a trial at the start of this month. (7) HANSEN BRACING was an also-ran in the Korea Sprint but should be better in this company.
| Selections | (6) Super Finish (5) Ziggurat (10) Circle A (11) King Honor |
