Saturday’s racing is at Seoul with 10 races from 10.35 to 17.55. Here are the previews:

Seoul Race 1: Class 4 (1000M) Special Weight A / KRW 75 Million
(7) GRAND PAS CLASSIC trialled well prior to his first race with a front-running four-length success before a decent second on debut. He was one-and-three-quarter lengths and one place ahead of the reopposing (6) HOPE K that day and can confirm the form. However, it would be no surprise if the latter were to reverse the deficit. He won his trial prior to his first start by ten-lengths where he led throughout. Both horses raced a bit greenly when taking each other on in their debuts and the one that races the most generously will win. They will be the two favourites by a fair way. (9) MIGHTY SAVER was fourth behind these two horses in the same race on debut and rates next over (8) CASTELLA, which is an Australian bred debutante by Prince Fawaz, (5) CLASSIC AUTUMN and (4) DAEHANUI YEONGUNG.
| Selections | (7) Grand Pas Classic (6) Hope K (9) Mighty Saver (8) Castella |
| Next Best | 5, 4 |
| Fast Start | 2, 4, 6, 7, 9 |
Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million
(7) KATARINARA has trialled twice for a seventh on May 7 before making up ground for second on June 25 beaten four-lengths. She was ridden by Ruan Maia in the most recent of those trials and he retains the ride for her first race and is the one to beat on that trial effort in a very winnable event. (8) POINT I has not been far away in three runs to date and that form is more than good enough for this despite being a beaten odds-on chance last time. She has the most consistent form of the raced brigade along with (5) DELTA DAECHEON so the latter obviously also rates as a strong chance. (9) WALLSTREET has had four runs and run deplorably in three of them, but the other run saw her only beaten four-and-three-quarter lengths by Concord Blue. They are surely the only four chances with (4) ROYAL MANSE and (2) FIRENZE GOLD best of the outsiders.
| Selections | (7) Katarinara (8) Point I (5) Delta Daecheon (9) Wallstreet |
| Next Best | 4, 2 |
| Fast Start | 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 9 |
Seoul Race 3: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million
(3) GOLDEN WARRIOR has been around the mark in most of her runs so in a tough race she gets the nod from an each-way perspective. A similar comment can be applied to (7) ECLAIR WIND who should also not be far away and (1) RACE DIVA must have as good a chance as any for Kozzi Asano and Tony Castanheira as she has been getting better with each start. (5) YEONDONG STAR rates next over (4) QWAEGEOL CHUNHYANG with (8) SAMJEONG YEOJE and (2) JEJU PRINCESS not hopeless either in a race where you could make a case for every runner.
| Selections | (3) Golden Warrior (7) Eclair Wind (1) Race Diva (5) Yeondong Star |
| Next Best | 4, 8 |
| Fast Start | 1, 2, 5, 6, 8 |
Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
(2) BULGEUN POKPUNG has been second in two of his past four with one of those runner-up finishes being a one-and-three-quarter length defeat behind subsequent Derby fifth placegetter Concord Codie which naturally reads as strong form for this. (1) GWANAKSAN CHAMP won on debut last year before finishing in the second half of the field in feature juvenile races. He has been knocking on the door for a win this season and could get it in this. (8) FINAL CHUKJE has been consistent enough to rate as an each-way chance. There are a lot of other hopes which include (4) MAX PARTY which could improve on recent runs and of course (5) RAON BLAIDE which has both the ability and Seo Seung-un to ride but he has a big weight as well. (10) BEAUTIFUL HWASEONG rates next.
| Selections | (2) Bulgeun Pokpung (1) Gwanaksan Champ (8) Final Chukje (4) Max Party |
| Next Best | 5, 10 |
| Fast Start | 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 |
Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
(4) WHIZ POINT has had the three runs for three minor placings and whilst it is hard to keep selecting him to win when he keeps getting beaten as favourite it is hard to say that his three defeats as favourites still is not the best form on offer in this event. On the basis that he is beaten again then (8) VINCENT ALEX, a maiden winner three back, looks the winner over (5) WADALBI, which broke his maiden last start. (6) X-FACTOR has been third in each of his last two and rates as an each-way chance with (10) ECLIPSE EDGE best of the rest over (2) EODIDEUNJI.
| Selections | (4) Whiz Point (8) Vincent Alex (5) Wadalbi (6) X-Factor |
| Next Best | 10, 2 |
| Fast Start | 4, 8, 10 |
Seoul Race 6: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
(3) JURING SKY has a half-length to find with (8) IKKEULIM from one of the form line events for this race on June 14 but she gets a decent weight swing and under Seo Seung-un that can be enough to reverse the form. The latter carries two-and-a-half kilograms extra compared to that course, distance, and grade victory last month but can go close to winning again. (6) YUKWAEHAN SEUNGJA has ground to make up on that pair from that race, but she will strip fitter as that was her first run for five months. (7) GEOLJAK TIARA looks the only other winning chance with (1) JIJON BULPAE and (5) DAEWONYONGMA the best of the other quartet of outsiders.
| Selections | (3) Juring Sky (8) Ikkeulim (6) Yukwaehan Seungja (7) Geoljak Tiara |
| Next Best | 1, 5 |
| Fast Start | 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 |
Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million
(7) K N ROSE must be taken on trust as she is resuming since having bled in December, but she ran a couple of decent races in her juvenile campaign with a half-length second to My Empire being her best performance. She trialled on June 11 finishing second beaten a length and if fit enough can break her maiden status. (6) LOVE IN SEOUL is a safer bet as she enters in excellent form having won three races from six starts. Those three victories have come from her past four runs and despite the three kilogram and six-pound rise from her score at this class at the end of May she can land the prize again. (5) RED DRAGON is looking for a third consecutive Class 4 victory after winning each of her last two from on pace roles. This will be the biggest weight she has carried by far, but it may not stop her. (10) RAON SNIPER, (11) GEUNYANG GARA and (9) HAPPY TOGETHER are the other chances in a competitive race for the girls.
| Selections | (7) K N Rose (6) Love In Seoul (5) Red Dragon (10) Raon Sniper |
| Next Best | 11, 9 |
| Fast Start | 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11 |
Seoul Race 8: Class 4 (1700M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
(7) SUPERDAY comes up to Class 4 level for the first time after leading throughout one grade below this over 1300M two months ago. Prior to that in April he had chased home a smart subsequent winner. His form is good; he looks the leader and if the unknown territory of the last 300M is no issue he will win. (6) GEUMA FOREMOST is naught from eighteen but has finished second on seven occasions. He is consistent without winning and will run another honest race. He gets a weight swing on (3) HAKSAN CAIRO from June 13 but the latter could confirm the form despite the weight rise. That was his first win at start twenty-three and it might just have done his confidence the world of good. (1) BULGEUNTAEYANG can be around the mark with (2) BLACK SATANG a chance if fit enough. (4) BEOLGYO D Y is the best of the other trio.
| Selections | (7) Superday (6) Geuma Foremost (3) Haksan Cairo (1) Bulgeuntaeyang |
| Next Best | 2, 4 |
| Fast Start | 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8 |
Seoul Race 9: Class 3 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million
(7) GLOBAL CHAMP won up to two-in-a-row in contrasting styles overcoming adversity to win ugly on April 18 before winning by a mile on May 17. He was beaten last time but only narrowly and he was two-and-a-quarter lengths ahead of Circle A which was a subsequent smart winner last week. If the 1800M is no issue he should bounce back to winning ways and continue his progression with Sone Jang-chul riding for the first time. (6) PERFECT DANAEUN rarely runs a bad race, and it would be a surprise if he were not involved in the finish. (9) CHARMING QUEEN is second-up from six months off, and her first-up run was a fourth in a decent race against her own sex at this grade. She has never missed the top four and should keep that record intact. They are the main trio of hopes with (4) SEGWANG FIGHTER, (5) STORM BREAKER and (2) GOLDEN HONOR next best.
| Selections | (7) Global Champ (6) Perfect Danaeun (9) Charming Queen (4) Segwang Fighter |
| Next Best | 5, 2 |
| Fast Start | 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 |
Seoul Race 10: Class 2 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million
(10) M G BEST is hard to catch, and it will not be easy for him from the widest draw over the Seoul mile but if he runs anywhere near the form of his course, distance, and grade victory three months ago against a much better field he will go close despite the weight he has to carry. (4) YEONHUI HERO also has a decent weight considering he has only had two runs at this level for two third places. It is a winnable Class 2 though so he can overcome that burden. (9) HAKSAN DARK HORSE was a soft winner of a weak Class 3 two back before running Lala K to a head last time. He comes up to this grade for the first time and can make his presence felt. (7) NANO MASIN also faces the toughest test of his career class wise but can go well with last start track, trip, and class winner (5) SUPREME SOCKS next best, despite rising four-and-a-half kilograms and five pounds, over (2) MYEONGSEONG CHUKJE.
| Selections | (10) M G Best (4) Yeonhui Hero (9) Haksan Dark Horse (7) Nano Masin |
| Next Best | 5, 2 |
| Fast Start | 1, 2, 5, 7, 8, 10 |
