Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(6) EVER LOVELY ran 2nd at start number two and then was a beaten favourite when 3rd over this distance on March 2nd, settling midfield and running on. In this company, she should be on pace and this time she can win. The danger is on her inside. (5) THE SUN MONSTER was a much-improved 2nd on his own third outing at this distance on March 8th when handy throughout. He carries more weight than Ever Lovely but should be in the finish again. (10) TRIGONUS was a fair 3rd on debut back at the end of February and should have come on for the run. (2) POWER MAGIC and (7) WORLD VICS are the other main contenders in an interesting opener.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(3) BEOLGYO EMPEROR did nothing on debut in December but was an improved 4th at start two in January and then a solid 2nd, albeit beaten by a good winner, over 1300M on February 8th in a quick race. He draws well and he won’t need to improve much, if at all, to win here. (6) COSMO JJIN did nothing on her first two starts but then came home in 2nd place at big odds in all filly maiden over 1200M at start three. She did her best work late that day so the slight increase in trip may suit and with an apprentice claim keeping her carried weight light, she can be in the finish. (4) BLACK MAMA was 4th two starts bac k and that’s enough to have her in placing contention in this company. (5) ANYANG LASER and (10) STUNNING BOLT others who can compete for the minors.

Busan Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(8) GLOBAL ONE PICK did nothing when debuting las July and then didn’t reappear until trialing in January. She put in a very solid effort on her return to racing on February 27th, showing on pace and finishing a close 2nd over 1300M with a couple of today’s rivals behind her. She should have come on for the run, and she is the one to beat here. (12) DELTA FORCE was 3rd on debut over 1200M and then 5th behind Global One Pick on February 27th. He has the challenge of the widest gate here but can be challenging late on. Kim Hyo-jung is in town to ride Flutter in the Cup Mile later and picks up a promising ride on (6) DOCTOR HUNTER. He was a solid 3rd on debut over 1400M on March 6th and should have come on for the run. (1) ONNURI PARTY and (9) SINHEUNG GANGTAJA debuted together, and both can show some natural improvement second up.

Seoul Race 3: Class 6 (1700M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

(1) PNS TWIN has made steady progress across three starts so far, culminating in 4th place at 1300M on March 7th when coming from well off the pace. His racing style so far suggests that he needs a bit of distance, and he gets the chance to prove it here. (3) BULGUKSIDAE is yet to finish inside the top three in sixteen attempts, but she enters off a best to date 4th place over this distance on February 8th when she came from well back and beat a couple of today’s rivals. In this company, another career-best should be the aim. (5) LUCKY JOY was only ordinary on his first try at this distance last time out, but prior to that he registered a 5th and a 4th and that’s enough to have him in the numbers here.  (8) GWANAKSAN WISH ME and (11) NURI EUTTEUM are perhaps the best of a limited rest.

Busan Race 2: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million

After winning a trial, (11) WIN NOW beat a couple of these on his way to 3rd place on debut over 1400M on February 27th. Settling behind the speed and running through the line well enough. He should have come on for the run and is the one to beat. (4) GOLD ROGER has a 4th and a 6th from two starts so far at 1200M and 1300M. She too has finished off well and may appreciate the slight step up in trip. (6) TOP OF THE RANK needs a line drawn through his latest when he was fractious in the gate and missed the start. He was well backed that day following a 2nd place in January and as he has subsequently completed a stall test, he can be given another chance. (2) FLYING SKY and (10) OASIS KINGDOM others in the hunt.

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(6) RAON THE CLARA got her breakthrough at start three, making all the running over 1200M and scoring by a cool eight-lengths. She comes up in class today, but she carries a light weight, and the manner of that victory means that from a central gate, she can go on top again. (4) PNS GONGJA remains a maiden, but he too comes up in class having registered two 3rd places and a 2nd from his latest three at 1200M and 1400M. The class rise couple with an apprentice claim means he comes down a full 6kg in weight today and that’s enough to bring him into contention. (8) TIGER K was beaten by the likes of G Flex and Unica last time out, so we’ll draw a line through that and instead go on his back-t-back class and distance 3rd places in December and January and give him a chance here. (7) HIGH CROWN and (3) NAEGILUI ACE, the latter drawing better than she has in her last two poor outings, others in the placing frame.

Busan Race 3: Class 5 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

(1) DEIMOS has been very consistent, winning over 1400M at start three and then holding his form with two 2nd places and a 3rd in three tries at this class, most recently over this distance on March 1st when he came from midfield to defeat a few of today’s rivals. He draws better today and can win. (11) YONGBI SHARK was a maiden winner over 1300M two outings ago but then got a long way back on his first try at this class on February 27th. The mile can suit and he can be a danger late. (6) MUHAN NAREUSHA enters off a smart 4th place in the Listed Gyeongnam Shinmun on March 1st. He was fifteen lengths behind the winner but back in shallower waters today, should be much closer. (12) K ROYAL and (9) POWER TREE the best of the rest.

Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Fillies and mares only here. (2) FLYING THUNDER was a comfortable winner at start three over 1300M on January 25th, leading all the way. She comes up in class as well as slightly up in distance but going on that run, there can be plenty more to come and she draws very nicely. (5) HAPPY TOGETHER got her maiden win two outings back and then ran 3rd over 1300M on February 28th after going right back at the start. She can be challenging late here. (1) STEEPLE beat a couple of these on her way to 4th place at this class and distance on March 2nd and should be looking to get closer in this company. (11) WONDERFUL FOX and (7) GYEOUL JANGMI look to be the other main place chances.

Busan Race 4: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million

Fillies and mares only here. (2) LAMPYOJEONGGEENIE had a poor day at the office when sent off as favourite in a similar class and distance race on February 27th when she got caught wider than ideal and seemingly used up too much before the business end of the race. We’ll go on her 2nd place two starts back and with a better draw and less early speed here, give her another chance. (1) SUNRISE can be pushing her early though. She comes up in class following her maiden win on March 1st over 1200M and can measure up at this level. (12) DUBAI SEONMUL is up in class too following a smart win over Yongbi Jjang and Win Now over 1400M on February 27th. She had a similarly wide gate that day and can go close here. (6) ZITA and (8) MISS SNIPER are other place chances.

Seoul Race 6: Class 4 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(8) HERO CHEETAH ran 4th on debut over 1200M on February 14th and then won at start two over the same trip two weeks later, racing handy throughout. He gets another crack at class 4 and with not much in the way of a weight rise, he can win again. He’ll dispute favourite status with (5) JJARITHAN HAENGBOK. The Maximus Mischief colt has two 2nd places, a 3rd and a 4th from his four outings to date, most recently a close runner-up effort when on pace over 1200M on March 2nd. He’ll be on pace again and can be in this a long way. (1) SAEROUN GUY is much more experienced and was 4th at this class over 1200M on March 14th. He makes a quick return and can be competitive again. (7) RAON SPILETTA and (3) HWASAN POKPAL others in the hunt.

(6) EPHPHATHA is two for two having won on debut over 1200M in January and then following up with another score over this distance on March 1st when leading all the way. He comes up in class today but is down 3.5kg in weight and a hat-trick of wins is possible. (3) DRAGON NINJA was a class and distance winner on January 9th before running 4th on his return on February 6th. He was favourite that day and with Seo Seung-un climbing on and from a better draw, probably will be again today. (5) FANTASTIC BLUE was a winner over this distance on February 27th. He is up in class here but can be competitive. (10) SINCHEON FIRST, who was 3rd to Dragon Ninja’s 4th at big odds on February 6th, along with (1) MR. PRIME are the other main contenders.

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1600M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(3) MYEONG POWER won over 1800M two starts back before finishing a very close 3rd in a four-way finish at this class on February 28th when on pace throughout. He carries a light weight, he draws well, and he should win this. (7) CHAM BBAREUN MAL is up in class following and win and a runner-up finish over 1700M and 1800M from his latest two, both times leading. He gets a big weight drop and that should allow him to measure up in this company. (2) SLAM DRAGON returned from over five months off to run a close 2nd at this class and distance on March 7th. He should strip fitter for that run and can be close again here. (4) GEOSEN DAERO and (10) GEUMA FOREMOST others to consider in a strong race for the level.

Busan Race 6: Class Open (1600M) Special Weight A / KRA Cup Mile (KOR G2) / KRW 700 Million

The first leg of the 2026 Triple Crown sees eight colts travel down from Seoul to take on eight from Busan. (4) LIVE STAR took a few goes to fully figure things out, but he has won his latest three, most recently at class 4 level over 1800M on February 7th when leading all the way and scoring by a full eighteen-lengths. On that evidence, he has to considered a real threat here. (1) HEY BROTHER is the highest rated in the field and one of the most experienced with nine starts. He’s won four times up to class 4 and a mile. His most recent start saw him 2nd to Clutch Winner in the Classic Trial at 1400M on March 1st. A front-runner, the mile suits and the draw suits. (3) FUNNY WILD was a somewhat lacklustre 2nd over 1800M last time out but prior to that had put in some eye-catching efforts and with Seo Seung-un aboard, could well start as the market elect. (7) DI NE and (6) FLUTTER look set to start as the next bests in the market.

Seoul Race 8: Class 4 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million

(11) KING MASTER is yet to finish outside the top three and comes in following a 3rd and a 2nd from his first two tries at this class and distance. He only comes up 1.5kg in weight and while he must contend with the widest gate, he should have too much here. (6) FASHION STAR is a three-time winner over this distance and comes in following a 3rd and two 4th places from her latest three. She likes to settle back and run on, and she will be strong late on again. (4) POWER ETCHED has been a generously priced 2nd and 3rd in his latest two and can be there or thereabouts again from a good draw. (9) MR. TAEYANG and (8) TAENGGEURI are last start winners who can be competitive.

Busan Race 7: Class 3 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million

(5) STORM FIGHTER does mix his form and never got involved from a wide draw last time out on March 1st at this class and distance. Two starts back though he was a close 2nd, coming from well off the pace, and if that’s the form he brings, he can win. Not much enters off a good last start but one that does is (2) MAX THE CAT. He won that March 1st race, coming from a long way back to go past not only Storm Fighter, but also Funny Wild (who may or may not have started as favourite in the KRA Cup Mile fifty minutes ago). He was a 50/1 chance that day but warrants more respect here. (11) GASOK JEIL comes in with his recent form reading fairer than most and can be in the finish. (1) BEOLMAUI ACE and (8) DAEHO NARA others in the hunt for the minors.

Seoul Race 9: Class 1 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 110 Million

This is a very good class 1. (3) ZIGGURAT won the Listed Ilgan Sports over this distance last September and has held his form since, most recently when dropping down to sprinting and running 3rd in the Listed Segye Ilbo. Tactically versatile, he carries a light weight, and he has as good a chance as any. The Segye Ilbo was perhaps a bit too sharp for (9) MUNHAK BOY, who saw his long undefeated streak come to an end. He steps up to 1800M for the first time and while he has his fair share of weight to carry, it can suit. (10) NO PROBLEM has won five in a row to be rapidly promoted to this class. He is two for two at the distance he carries a very light weight, and while this is going to be a test tempo and opposition wise, he can prove equal to it. (6) VICS GO was a strong class and distance winner at the start of this month and will have plenty of backers. (2) PEPPER X among plenty of others in with a chance.

(3) PRINCE DAY returned from almost exactly a year out to run 2nd at this class and distance on February 7th when handy throughout. He should strip fitter for that run, he draws well, and he can go one better today over a distance at which he has won over. (1) TIARA SUA enters off six consecutive placings, the latest two at this class and distance. She stays under a light weight and while she once more may find one too quick, she should be close again. (5) PRIME CROWN is second-up after a lay-off and the huge weight drop catches the eye. He was a class and distance winner last July. (7) DOKKI DRAGON and (4) YONGBI TAEYANG others in the placing frame.
