Saturday’s racing is at Seoul with 11 races from 11:00 to 17:50. Due to the cancellation of Saturday’s pony-race card at Jeju, the post times for most races have been amended. Here are the previews:

Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million
(2) GREEN JACKET won his trial and then ran a solid 2nd place on debut when settling midfield from a wide draw and running on over 1200M. He should have come on for that run, he gets a better gate here, and he can win. (8) MONEY MOVE trialed up behind Green Jacket and then ran 2nd himself on debut over this distance on January 31st, coming from off the pace and beating a couple of today’s rivals. He can be close again. (1) BARAMGAEBI ran 3rd in a decent time at this distance on debut on January 30th and will have plenty of backers to go better here. (5) COMPLETE TURBO and first time starter (11) URUS SABBIA look the best of the rest.
| Selections | (2) Green Jacket (8) Money Move (1) Baramgaebi (5) Complete Turbo |
| Next Best | 11, 12 |
| Fast Start | 1, 2, 5, 6 |
Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million
Maidens with five of the eleven racing for the first time. (8) PURPLE KOREA will be a hot favourite here. She was sent off at big odds on debut on February 7th but defied those to run a close 3rd having shown on the pace throughout. She won’t need to improve much to win this. (6) SEOUL BIHAENG ran 2nd on debut in January when leading for most of the way before finishing 6th behind Purple Korea on February 7th. He’ll be on pace here and is second choice. (2) DIA JILJU was a slow 6th of eleven on debut at this distance and from a good draw can get closer. With the newcomers not showing much in trials, (4) BULPAEUI YEOWANG and (7) DAEHAN POWER may improve.
| Selections | (8) Purple Korea (6) Seoul Bihaeng (2) Dia Jilju (4) Bulpaeui Yeowang |
| Next Best | 7, 9 |
| Fast Start | 2, 4, 5, 8 |
Seoul Race 3: Class 6 (1400M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million
Competitive maiden with a few looking ready to win. (5) K N STORM came from off the pace to get his second 3rd place finish over this distance on February 8th. He doesn’t get the benefit of an apprentice claim today, but a similar effort can see him win. (9) POWERFUL PRADO also has a pair of4rd places to her name. She can get a bit far back in her races, as she did last time, but she gets a weight drop here and can be a danger. (8) SAMJEONG WINNER is yet to crack the top two but has four finishes between 3rd and 5th and should be close again. (2) JEJU PRINCESS and (4) DREAM DIA other chances.
| Selections | (5) K N Storm (9) Powerful Prado (8) Samjeong Winner (2) Jeju Princess |
| Next Best | 4, 7 |
| Fast Start | 1, 2, 4, 6 |
Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
Fillies and mares only here. (3) WHIZ DREAM was a winner on debut over 1000M in a very quick time but has struggled a little in two starts at this class over 1300M, both times using up quite a bit of energy to get forward and weakening. Today the slight drop back in trip should suit but crucially she draws well and should be able to get a softer run to the front. If she does, she should win. (6) RAON THE PLUMA got her maiden win at start three over this distance on February 8th, leading all the way. She is up in class but can measure up in this company. (4) SEVEN KAISER is yet to win but likewise has never finished outside of the top four and she should be there or thereabouts again. (10) YEONGWONHAN STAR and (11) YES ANGEL are the other place chances.
| Selections | (3) Whiz Dream (6) Raon The Pluma (4) Seven Kaiser (10) Yeongwonhan Star |
| Next Best | 11, 1 |
| Fast Start | 3, 4, 10, 11 |
Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
Fillies and mares. (1) UNICA was a strong winner on debut and then ran 3rd in Listed juvenile company. She has since been the beaten favourite on four consecutive occasions, finishing between 2nd and 4th each time. In this company, she can settle behind the speed and this time get it tight. (10) ARION QUEEN CAR ran out of the race after half a furlong on December 14th for which she copped a two-month ban and had to go through plenty of trials. If she behaves herself, she is a danger. (6) THUNDER YEOGEOL and (9) MIGHTY SHINE came home 2nd and 3rd respectively when they raced each other in a very similar class and distance race on February 7th and both can be in the frame again. Up in class (8) X-TEN another in the hunt.
| Selections | (1) Unica (10) Arion Queen Car (6) Thunder Yeogeol (9) Mighty Shine |
| Next Best | 8, 3 |
| Fast Start | 2, 6, 8, 10 |
Seoul Race 6: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
(7) TRIPLE PALMETTO got his maiden win in January, settling right back and running on strongly over 1400M before racing on pace and running 2nd on his first try at this class, again at 1400M, on February 7th. He stays under a light weight, and he can go one better here. (2) BROWN MAMMA has won two in a row, most recently at this class over 1300M on January 25th. He comes up 3.5kg in weight as well as up to this distance for the first time, but neither should be a problem, and he has every chance of completing his hat-trick. (6) EAN PERFECT is up in class having won over this distance on February 14th. He is down in weight and should offer some each-way value. (4) TAEGISAN KING and (8) ENTROPY are the other main chances.
| Selections | (7) Triple Palmetto (2) Brown Mamma (6) Ean Perfect (4) Taegisan King |
| Next Best | 8, 10 |
| Fast Start | 1, 2, 7, 10 |
Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
(1) CHEONMAHORYEONG was a strong all the way winner at this class and distance on January 18th finding his way to the front from a wide draw. That took him to three from eight and while he shed his jockey at the start before and wasn’t the best behaved last time either, he looked well in a trial at the start of this month and should win here. (9) RAON THE KEISHA enters off a class and distance 3rd on January 31st when she was on pace throughout. She will be on the speed again and can be in this a long way. (2) GEOSEN POKJU got too far back in his latest start, but he was a class and distance winner in January and should be taken seriously here. (6) GLOBAL SERVE and (7) SPARKLING are others to consider on a place line.
| Selections | (1) Cheonmahoryeong (9) Raon The Keisha (2) Geosen Pokju (6) Global Serve |
| Next Best | 7, 4 |
| Fast Start | 1, 6, 7, 9 |
Seoul Race 8: Class 4 (1300M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
(7) SAHARA KHAN has had a very stop start career so far winning his first two across the turn off 2024/2025 and then not racing again until November when he was 2nd at this class over 1400M. He hasn’t raced since but did trial well (behind Cheonmahoryeong) two weeks ago and we know that he can go well first up. (1) MATTERHORN K was second at big odds over a mile at this class on February 8th. He draws well and can aim to place again in this company. (2) KOREAN DREAM has had a similarly interrupted career to Sahara Khan and returned from nine months out to run 5th at 1200M on February 15th, beating a couple of today’s rivals. He should strip fitter for that run and can be in this. (3) HANMADIMALDO and (10) HANGANG FANTASTIC others in the frame.
| Selections | (7) Sahara Khan (1) Matterhorn K (2) Korean Dream (3) Hanmadimaldo |
| Next Best | 10, 4 |
| Fast Start | 3, 4, 7, 11 |
Seoul Race 9: Class 4 (1700M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
(3) CHUKBAEREUL DEULEORA has only won once but it was at this class and distance and he enters having run 3rd on February 15th when settling behind the speed and running on. That was his first start since November, when he was also 3rd, so he can strip fitter here and from a great draw, he can win. (8) JEONGSANG HERO parted company with his jockey coming out of the gate in January but was a good 3rd on February 14th over 1400M when leading. He comes up to two turns for the first time, and it can suit. (6) AIRFORCEONE mixes his form, but he was a winner at this class over 1800M two starts back and can be in the mix here. (4) GOOD MORNING COME and (5) HAKSAN CAIRO are the other main chances.
| Selections | (3) Chukbaereul Deuleora (8) Jeongsang Hero (6) Airforceone (4) Good Morning Come |
| Next Best | 5, 2 |
| Fast Start | 4, 6, 8, 11 |
Seoul Race 10: Class 3 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million
(5) CIRCLE A has won two of his last three, most recently over 1700M on February 15th, when on pace throughout. He is up in class here but is down significantly in weight, he should be on pace again, and he can win. He may have a bit more progression in him than (4) NASSAU CHAT, who came out on top when the pair finished 1st and 2nd over this distance back in January. Nassau Chat then ran 5th on his first try at this class on February 14th and, in the best form of his career, can be a danger again. Like Circle A, (6) WHIZ FIGHTER is up in class having won two of his last three. He tackles two turns for the first time, but he can measure up. (1) GAMSAUI HIM and (11) GLORY CITY are others in the frame.
| Selections | (5) Circle A (4) Nassau Chat (6) Whiz Fighter (1) Gamsaui Him |
| Next Best | 11, 8 |
| Fast Start | 1, 3, 5, 6 |
Seoul Race 11: Class 2 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million
(1) GEUDAEMANIDDAMYEON misbehaved in the parade ring, in the tunnel and again at the start on January 25th, having to be scratched (and causing the tote to crash though that was hardly his fault). He behaved in a trial earlier this month and so long as he is on his best behaviour, this Juvenile Listed winner should have too much. (5) MORE THAN JOKE was a good winner at 1400M on February 7th. He is up in class but down in weight and can be competitive. (8) ELDORADO NOLBU has eleven top two finishes from seventeen starts. He was (a distance) 2nd to Geudaemaniddamyeon in December. He’ll be in the placing mix once more. (6) UMAPOY and (3) J S ROAD are others to consider each-way.
| Selections | (1) Geudaemaniddamyeon (5) More Than Joke (8) Eldorado Nolbu (6) Umapoy |
| Next Best | 3, 2 |
| Fast Start | 1, 3, 5, 10 |
