Seoul Race 1: Class 6 (1200M) Special Weight A / KRW 45 Million
Three-year-old maiden fillies with nine of the twelve racing for the first time. (5) BREEDO AQUA was an on pace 2nd over this distance on debut on February 7th, well beaten by a good winner, but posting a decent time. She should have come on for that and won’t need to improve by much to win this. (2) GANGHAN GAMMA has raced twice, finishing 5th on debut on January and then 3rd at start two over 1300M on February 15th. Her times haven’t been quick, but she can have a fitness edge on her rivals and be close again. Among the first timers, (3) MY DOLPUNG was 2nd from on the pace in her trial and draws well to lead again. (8) GOLD ID and (7) BEST SECRET others who showed promise in their heats.

Seoul Race 2: Class 6 (1300M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million
(2) GOLDEN DIVA has been consistent across her five starts so far, finishing in the top five on every occasion. In this company and from this gate, she can be expected to be on the speed, and she can go all the way. (1) BLAZING ENGINE has a 2nd and a 3rd from three starts so far, those sandwiching a poor effort when slow away and getting too far back at start two. He didn’t go down by much last time and a similar effort over this trip can see him home close. (6) INSPIRE beat Golden Diva as the pair finished 3rd and 4th at this distance on February 14th. That was a big uptick in form, and he can maintain it here. (10) GOLDEN SAVE and (9) PASA ACE other place chances.

Seoul Race 3: Class 6 (1700M) Special Weight A / KRW 30 Million
(3) POWERFUL IMPACT was sent off as favourite over this distance on February 7th but copped a bump at the start and didn’t have much luck after as he trailed him 6th with three of today’s rivals ahead. Before that he registered a 2nd and a 3rd at this distance and with a smoother passage today, he has every chance. (10) MANGEUM CROWN has a 3rd and a 4th in two tries at this distance. He has a strong finish on him so the wide draw won’t be a problem, and he can challenge late here. (11) THE SUN COMING was 3rd to Mangeum Crown’s 4th when they raced each other on January 25th over this distance and while he comes up 4kg in the absence of an apprentice claim, he can be close. (6) STORM LIGHT and (8) WONDERFUL DARSHAAN were ahead of Powerful Impact on February 7th and can aim for decent finishes again.

Seoul Race 4: Class 5 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
(10) NAMSAN MINYEO has been ultra consistent across seven starts so far, with a 5th on debut her worst. She comes in fresh racing for the first time since just before Christmas and under a light weight she can make her way across to the lead and can win. (11) CHRYSOL DONGHAE has finished both ahead of and behind Namsan Minyeo and ran 2nd at 1700M two starts ago. He can get a bit far back in his races but has a strong finish and can be a danger late. (7) GEOMEUN SUP is yet to win but got promoted to this class with back-to-back runner-up finishes at 1400M. He ran 4th over 1700M on his first try at this class on February 14th and can get closer today. (5) SECRET WOLF and (8) GLORY QUEEN others in the frame.

Seoul Race 5: Class 5 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
(5) SUNGLASS was a winner on debut over this distance in January before going slightly wide from the outside gate on February 7th and never settling into the race. She draws better here and is worth another chance. On debut, Sunglass beat (11) TIGER BULPAE by less than length into 2nd place. The latter is yet to win but ran a solid 4th on her first try at this class on February 7th (in a different race to Sunglass) and while this time she is the one who draws the car park, she is the danger. (10) MUNHAK FIGHTER has a win and three placings from four attempts at this trip and is a place chance. (3) CHRYSOL NIKE and (7) CHEONGONGUI SEOM are the other two chances.

Seoul Race 6: Class 5 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 45 Million
(7) FOREVER GIL got his maiden win at start two over 1200M and has since run 4th and 3rd in two tries at this class leading over this distance and then racing handy at 1300M. In this company, he should be on the speed again, and he can win. (10) ROAD TO HEAT has finished 3rd in all three starts so far. He comes up in class and slightly in trip, but he is down 4kg in weight and can measure up. (2) RAON SNIPER enters off a 3rd place at this class over 1200M and under a similar light weight, she can be on pace and in this a long way for her first try at 1400M. (9) EUNPA BOOSTER and (1) GEUMSEONG POWER are others who can be considered on a place line.

Seoul Race 7: Class 4 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
(8) WONDERFUL SOCKS won his first two starts and then went off the boil a bit finishing well-back behind the likes of Chief Star and Roshe. She has picked back up of late with a 3rd and a 2nd from her latest two, both at this class over a mile and both times leading for most of the way. She can be ready to win again. (5) GLOBAL CHAMP is a winner of two from three most recently at 1200M on February 14th when close to the pace throughout. He is up in class and in trip here but down in weight and is a danger. (2) QUEEN DIA is a two-time winner at this distance and draws better than in her latest two. She has the fastest time among this field for 1400M and should be in the placing frame. (9) BURUI SEGYE and (10) SONE SONJABGO others in line for the minors.

Seoul Race 8: Class 4 (1200M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
(7) MOVING VOLCANO made a breakthrough that had been coming when leading all the way to score at this class and distance on February 15th with a couple of today’s rivals behind him. He comes up 4.5kg in weight but gets another crack at class 4, and he can win. (10) ULTRA MANGCHI was 3rd behind Moving Volcano in that February 15th race, showing handy throughout. That continued a positive run of recent form and his third consecutive placing and he should be there or thereabouts again. (3) ROYAL PLUS cuts back in trip today having raced on pace before weakening over a mile in her latest couple. She stays under an apprentice claim and from a good gate can leas again. (5) MIGHTY GLEE and (11) RAON FINAL are other place chances.

Seoul Race 9: Class 4 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 60 Million
(10) BLACK SATANG has never missed out on the top three in her nine starts to date and she enters off her fourth win on January 25th which came at this class and distance when close to the pace throughout. She comes up a couple of kilos here, but she should be equal to it and she can win again. (3) YEONGWON GIANT is yet to salute after twenty-three attempts, but he has fourteen top five finishes, most recently 2nd on February 17th when he may have been beaten eighteen-lengths by outrageous winner Live Star, but he in turn beat plenty of today’s rivals. It’s not impossible that today could be his day. (9) AMOS CHEONHA stepped up to this trip and won on February 8th, coming from well off the pace. He is up in class but down 4kg in weight and he can measure up. (8) STUNNING FLATTER and (5) SKY HAMSEONG others in the frame for the minors.

Seoul Race 10: Class 2 (1800M) Handicap / KRW 90 Million
(3) ACE K stepped up to this trip for the first time and ran out an eye-catching thirteen-length winner on February 8th, leading all the way. The handicappers saw it too and whacked him to the tune of fourteen which means while he is up in class, he doesn’t get a weight break. He might not do that again, but he is well drawn to lead and he can win again. (7) ZETTA MASTER was a class and distance winner two starts back and comes in having run 3rd from well off the pace on February 14th. He gets an apprentice claim today and can be a danger. (4) CHAN FAMOUS hasn’t excelled at 1800M, but he looks nicely in here and from a good draw, he may offer some each-way appeal. (11) YEONHUI HERO and (9) VET CAPTAIN are others in the hunt.

Seoul Race 11: Class 3 (1400M) Handicap / KRW 75 Million
Competitive finale. (11) HERO SOCKS beat three of these on his way to 2nd place at this class and distance on February 2nd when settling right back and running on. It is fair to say he doesn’t win out of turn but under the weight, he has as good a chance as any here. (3) DREAM ISLE and (2) WONDERFUL LORD came home 3rd and 4th respectively when they raced each other at this class and distance on January 11th. Both get big weight drops here, both draw well, and both can be in the mix again. (8) DRAGON KINGDOM has eight top four finishes from his twelve starts and is a three-time winner at this distance, including one at this class. An apprentice helps take his weight down a full 5kg here, and he has every chance. (7) GRAY CANDY another in the frame.
